Nestled near Drama, Greece, our Volakas Quarry is situated in the marble-rich Kavala-Drama units of the Rhodope Massif. Renowned for its metamorphic carbonate rocks, this region produces up to 80% of all exported Greek marble (Source: Laskaridis 2004, page 68). Our quarry is respected internationally for its superior white veined natural stone.
Our dedicated and highly trained workforce focuses on strict quality control to ensure production at Volakas Quarry is reliably consistent in quality and patterning. We produce premium marble blocks and cut-to size pieces, using precision diamond wire cutting and other state-of-the-art machinery. Our modern equipment reduces noise, dust and rock waste. We recycle any excess material, part of our commitment to responsible quarrying.
