Marmomac 2024, held from September 25 to 28 in Verona, Italy, marked the 59th edition of the world’s premier marble trade fair. This annual event brings together industry professionals, designers, and companies to showcase the latest innovations in natural stone, cutting-edge machinery, and architectural applications.
Our presence at Marmomac underscored our commitment to staying at the forefront of the marble industry. With an indoor booth in Hall 9 and an outdoor exhibit in Area D, we proudly showcased our premium marble from our Thassos and Volakas quarries. The event provided an excellent platform to connect with new clients while strengthening relationships with long-term partners and industry colleagues.
Our team was actively present—welcoming visitors at our booths, walking the show, and attending strategic meetings—engaging with clients, architects, and suppliers to advance not only our operations but also industry-wide goals.
A major highlight of the event was the appointment of Irini Papagiannouli as ‘Marble Ambassador’ alongside Veronafiere President Federico Bricolo, an honor bestowed by the Italian Marble Women’s Association. This recognition reflects our dedication to promoting Greek marble on a global stage and reinforcing the relevance of natural stone in modern design and architecture.
Additionally, the association honored Italian sculptor Margherita Serra with the ‘Donna del Marmo 2024’ Award, recognizing her contributions to the promotion and artistic expression of natural stone. This award celebrates individuals whose artistry, professionalism, and dedication have contributed to the appreciation and global diffusion of stone in architecture and sculpture.
